Carving Challenge!

Notice how I did not say PUMPKIN carving challenge?

Pumpkins, squash, apples, melons, whatever you happen to feel like carving a face into, we want to see it!

I couldn't wait any longer to carve something! Pointy toothed bell pepper in the garden of murdered mushrooms.

So here are two of our four pumpkins.

My fourth grader is reading the Odyssey so this is Polyphemus (with some pumpkin guts on the side to be extra scary).

The second is actually a face too, although the candle didn't quite illuminate the mouth to well.  That one was my best effort.  Overworking things as usual.

i just did good old traditional pumpkins. usually my old man and i do them together, but unfortunately he was stuck doing surgery, so i have to carve his for him! i just freehanded both of these this year, because i worked a bit later than usual and didn't have much time to go nuts.

i love the creativity of all the carvings posted, both pumpkin and other veggies/fruits!

These were the pumpkins done by the fam

These two I did (The Tinkerbell for my 4 year old - I had a pattern for the character but added the words and other stuff since she looked silly on there all by herself)
