Important! Rules of Paragraphite!

Rules of Paragraphite:

We’re going to keep this brief but if you feel something needs more explaining you’re welcome to pm me. The rules will evolve with us and be updated as we go.

Be Nice. This is the first rule for a reason. Respect each other and respect this forum. This is a place for creativity and safe expression. No harassing, flaming or trolling. No derogatory slurs. If you’re having an issue with someone and you think you might cross that line into harassing rather than communicating, talk to a staff member. Generally, if you’re peeved, reread that post before you click send.

Don’t spam. If your posting links to other forums or stores or whatever you might be selling or pushing, your spammy account will be removed.

Do not claim that any work, be it written, drawn, sung, painted, sewn, baked or carved from soap is yours if it is not. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Seriously, don’t do it.

Guidelines specific to in-character posting:

Keep in mind that each IC (in-character) Forum has a specific theme and general rules of its own as well as the ones below.

No godmodding, metagaming, powergaming or auto-hitting. Each player has control over their own character and no one else’s. You can not write how another character moves, speaks or reacts without first discussing it with that character’s maker and coming to an agreement.

Minimum of five sentences in all IC(in-character) posts outside of the Freestyle Forum. Think of it this way- it’s not about having a bulky post, it’s about giving the other players something to work with when they reply.

All posts in IC Forums should be in-character. All out of character conversations should be held via an OOC (out-of-character) thread in the OOC Discussions Forum or over private message.
