Revolution Conclusion
Bloodlines of courtesans have become the norm among the high court, and legacy courtesans as well as people with great genes for the cast are paired to breed tailored generations of new such servants for the highest courts.
Along comes the revolution and topples the regime.
Our story is played out between three siblings, raised to hate and love – as was the desired mood of the highest ranked courtesans – the world they’d been bred for. Their courtesan mother and breeding stock father are relieved their children didn’t have to serve like they did, in-fact, the world around them expect them to be happy not that they can pursue whatever lives they want that do not entail slavery for other’s pleasures.
But there is something brewing in the youths, one boy and two girls. They have heavily romanticized the duties they were never made to preform, and feel unsatisfied never to do what they feel they were meant to. The brother and the oldest sister begin comforting each other, and find some heart in it while deceiving the world. The youngest sister, the favorite of the household, feels left out without knowing why, and is then hurt and furious when she discovers what her older siblings are doing. After some back and forth, the brother manages to convince the youngest sister of his devotion to her, and she is content with the attention from the man she adores, and doesn’t notice the sullen glances the older sister and he shares in the house.
Could be played out a a snippit in time for a thread, or be our next nanowrimo thing. Or just a fun thought project that concludes with this, haha.
Monster Fighter classical romp
The space traveling program pluck/drop and its tech invited fiends over to our world and planet. Because of over population, human kind is still forced to use p/d for stellar migration, but it litters the home world with foreign monsters, enhanced by p/d. People now trust in individuals from the Hance program to meld their genetics with stemcells from any given Fiend to inherit a fraction of its ability. P/D sends a volatile burst outward when used, and it displaces objects and individuals from other dimensions as a cost to pluck and drop a vessel from our world. The transfer to our dimension from another bombards the object or lifeform with the Mem-particle. The Mem-particle has to this date only contributed to make any race volatile toward humans.
With only a small enchantment compared to that of a Fiend, an individual from the Hance program must rely on advantages in the human intellect and physicality to bridge the gap between themselves and the Fiend. More often than not, Buster Category Fiends possess extreme strength and destructive capability while lacking in speed and agility, while Rush Category Fiends are much faster but less robust. Hance are often seen using opposite abilities to combat Fiends, armed with LifeLocks, a common name for Anti-fiend weapons.
Hance with a larger slayer potential are given better positions within the system. Hance start at 0 potential and are assigned own titles after 1000sp. There are twenty-something titled Hance in the monarchy of Japan at this time, almost all of them are stationed in Tokyo, and a majority of them were produced by Kuroita High-School. It is colloquially accepted that the school produces fitting Hance.
The procedure of enhancement of a human being by fusing with a Fiend starts with procuring a DeHost. It is preferable that a DeHost is a Transmutant. Tarnsmutants are people who by some unfortunate coincidence occupied the same space as a Drop, and shares biology with a Fiend. The common biology will aide in the enhancing process of a future Hance. It is not impossible to use a non-transmutant DeHost but attempts have not been successful at an acceptable rate. There has been one recorded case, Akeio Hakutsa, where a transmutant was able to function as a Hance. Akeio is seen as an exception, as most transmutants perish shortly after they have been joined with a Fiend by a Drop.
The Kuroita School has an advanced enhancement program, and their facilities, called NaviChamber are patent pending. A specific scholarship will afford students the choice of becoming enhanced. The moral of this passed 3 out of 5 boards and has been completely legal for three years, before that a trial had to be carried out for each student suitable for the process. It has not gone unnoticed that any student compatible with any newly captured DeHost is granted a scholarship with access to the NaviChamber.
It is inevitable that the country is watching Tokyo, and especially focuses on the students of Kuroita High.
could be a cool breeding ground for all the lighter anime tropes, eh?
Psycho-gossip
Been thinking about this one for a while, could work as a short or as a... long? Normal? Anypoops.
This girls, sweet, known to be the ace nicegirl, dreamboat, all that. Her bf is a stellar good guy. We can play this anime if you want, but that's beside the point.
There's this party, and suddenly she runs out of a room, clothes out of place, ripped even, and then after a while the bad boy shows up in the doorframe - my fav type, a bit clever, dark, misunderstood type that'll knuckle you to the floor. She accuses him of being a demon, and that he has tentacles. At first it sounds like mad ramblings but then he hovers over the ground and someone he looks at is flung against the wall.
Spoiler: It is actually she who's telekinetic. And she had a badgirl kinda personality beside her current one, and she actually lewdly seduced bad guy. The thread could be them trying to get to the bottom of what happened, and her mind keep rewriting things since she can't take the trauma of being that person, and the bad boy keeps protecting her from her own mental breakdown, but things get more evident as they go along. All the while the other persona who has a serious girl-on for bad boy keeps rearing her head.
