Well I like to write and role play. My spelling and grammar I will admit isn't very good. I only really do fantasy. I kind of just managed to find this forum and I hope to improve my skills here.

-Squints-

Found it? Now that's a rare feat, worthy of applause if no one actually brought you here.

Welcome aboard, Wolf! If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to ask!

Well to be more specific I found the freestyle part of the forum. I simply Google freestyle role play and well here I am. As far as the tuna I may have a can some where.

Welcome! We're a small forum but pretty friendly. If you have any questions let us know!

Do you have any favorite themes within fantasy? Like magic and swords? Or vampires? Other world fantasy or urban fantasy?

*laughs and tosses the cat some tuna*

I only really rp fantasy haven't tried much else. I have two characters I have spent a fair amount of time with. The one is a lone Elf who was cursed as a child and can transform at will in to a wolf. The other is a half breed human/sprite who is about 150 years old very child like and will steal any thing not nailed down.  As far as style and type I guess swords, castles, mythical monsters and the like.  If it helps most of what I read is stuff like Wheel of Time, Game of Thrones, the Belgariad and Malorean  and any thing like that really.

The only way you get better is by practice. I'm 99% most of us would cringe at some of our older works, but we've all gotten better, and part of that was by writing with people we considered more skilled than ourselves.

Join us! Bring some fresh ideas and new enthusiasm!

^^^^ What Krys said. I think the first year or so of my attempts at rps I mostly just looked at threads and thought about joining but then hesitated too long to actually do it. Some of the people that used to really intimidate me are now some of my favorites to play with.

I do hope you stick around! We have a solo forum too if you like to write poems or anything on your own and a hype forum for chatter.

Oooh, I like the theiving human/sprite!

Thank you all for the very warm welcome.

Ara as far as Flyta goes (the half human half sprite) at the end of the day she is very altruistic. Dresses like a dutchess robs the rich blind and helps those she thinks deserve it. She is more likely to be found in a tavern than a tea room and very deadly with the blades hidden in the numerous layers she tends to wear.

That is but a fraction. When I was younger  I was really in to the Red Wall series, I'm sure there will be a mob with torches and pitchforks forming but I didn't really like Lord of the Rings and well R.A Salvatore  seems to just re write the same book over and over again... but I must depart for now for some food.

Yo Wolf. Welcome to Para.

Have you read The Name of the Wind and A Wise Man's Fear? My current favorites in the fantasy genre.

I look forward to seeing you around.

Nice, nice. I'm eagerly awaiting a release date too.

What about The Slow Regard of Silent Things? It was different, but I really loved it.

Did you know that there is a bacteria/virus/parasite in cats that make people more agressive than they would have been without it? It inflames the human brain. Half the world's human population have it. It's called Toxoplasmosis.

*puts some cream with the tuna* Good kitty.

Hmm. I for one did not know that.  Humans really need to stop eating cats.

I tell my 9 year old that mcdonalds chicken mcnuggets are made from cat meat. If half the world's population has it, that would make sense, since half the world's population has also ingested mcdonalds chicken mcnuggets.

*Gulps a mouthful* Mmmm, cat. The other white meat. *Offers some to Wolf, and the others*

*sings* It's an aggressive day in the neighborhood....*
